Ilaji Iraqi was born in 2025 at the British Center for Orthopedic and Joint Surgery in Baghdad by Consultant Surgeon Dr. Mohamad kasim Al‑Lami, Ms. Najlaa Yousif Al‑Yaqoub, and distinguished colleagues in rehabilitation and physical conditioning. The vision is to restore Iraq’s rightful place in regional and global healthcare by offering modern treatments using world‑class equipment under the supervision of skilled Iraqi physicians across specialties. Our initiative stands on centuries of Iraqi medical heritage—from Sumerian, Assyrian, and Babylonian records of scientific practice, to the Hammurabi Code and the early guild of physicians; from the Abbasid era’s scientific renaissance to the establishment of Iraq’s first hospitals and medical colleges in the modern period. We carry that legacy forward with calm, contemporary care.

 وُلدت فكرة “علاجي عراقي” عام ٢٠٢٥ في المركز البريطاني لجراحة العظام والمفاصل في بغداد على يد الدكتور الجراح الاستشاري محمد قاسم اللامي والأستاذة نجلاء يوسف اليعقوب وزملاء محترمين في التأهيل الطبي والإعداد البدني، بهدف استعادة موقع العراق المستحق عربيًا ودوليًا في الطب بتقديم أحدث طرق العلاج وبأفضل الأجهزة تحت إشراف أمهر الأطباء العراقيين ومن مختلف الاختصاصات. يستند مشروعنا إلى إرث طبي عراقي عريق—من توثيق الممارسات العلمية في الحضارات السومرية والآشورية والبابلية، إلى مسلة حمورابي وبدايات تنظيم مهنة الطب؛ ومن النهضة العلمية في العصر العباسي إلى إنشاء أوائل المستشفيات والكلية الطبية الملكية عام ١٩٢٧ وتحديث النظام الصحي في القرن العشرين، وصولًا إلى جهود إعادة البناء في السنوات الأخيرة. نحن نواصل هذه السلسلة بقيم عصرية ورعاية هادئة.
